The Barossa Valley Airshow is a biannual (run on odd years) event run by St Jakobi Lutheran school in Lyndoch. The school puts on a well orchestrated event and is professional in every respect. Due to this the event is very popular in the Barossa and attracts a diverse range of aircraft. There are helicopter rides, parachute display’s aerobatics and flypasts from both vintage and modern aircraft including the RAAF roulettes.
The event is a family friendly experience as the comparatively low noise levels (compared to a jet event), easy parking and close proximity to the aircraft means everyone can enjoy the event. It can be a little dusty and shade is difficult to find so be prepared and enjoy the show.
